HM Treasury (including Topical Questions)

MPs question a government minister

HM Treasury oral questions provide an opportunity for MPs to scrutinise Treasury ministers on fiscal policy, spending decisions, and economic management. Topical questions allow MPs to raise urgent issues affecting public finances and the economy. This session will test Labour's Treasury team on current economic conditions and departmental priorities.

Treasury oral questions are among the most scrutinised parliamentary business because they cover tax, spending, and economic policy affecting every household and business in the UK. This session allows the opposition to hold the Government to account on inflation, growth, and fiscal decisions.
