Won by Lab in its first election in 2024. Covers Tonypandy, Rhondda and Porth. Population 100,052. Median income £25K (below average).

One of Labour's more prominent backbench figures, Bryant is currently serving as a Trade Minister -- a role that has recently drawn scrutiny. A April 2026 report by Declassified UK alleged he misled Parliament over arms component shipments to Israel, with Bryant declining to engage with questions on the matter. Separately, a June 2025 PinkNews report highlighted a well-received parliamentary speech on LGBTQ+ rights and the continued need for Pride, consistent with his longstanding public advocacy on equality issues.

At 55% voting participation, Bryant votes less frequently than the Commons average -- likely a function of ministerial responsibilities rather than disengagement, given his 938 parliamentary contributions across 129 debates. When he does vote, he votes 100% in line with the Labour majority, with no rebel votes on record. His stance profile flags notable deviations from his party's average: he votes more frequently in favour of criminal justice reform (+28 percentage points above the Labour average) and against assisted dying access (-23pp), while showing considerably less support for local democracy measures (-31pp). His speech activity is dominated by economy and jobs, culture, and technology -- topics aligned with his ministerial brief.
