Liaison sub-Committee on Select Committee Core Tasks

The Sub-Committee was appointed by the main Committee on 23 June 2026. It expects to launch an inquiry on select committee core tasks in the autumn; details will appear in a News Item setting out the Terms of Reference for the inquiry.

Core tasks for departmental select committees were last agreed by the Liaison Committee and approved by the House of Commons on 31 January 2013, they can be found here.
