What steps his Department is taking to improve prisoner rehabilitation.

We provide a range of rehabilitative interventions for prisoners, including education, employment and substance misuse support.In 93 prisons, we have established dedicated in-prison roles to strengthen educational opportunities and prepare prisoners for work on release.We have Incentivised Substance Free Living units in 85 prisons, supporting engagement with treatment in custody.
