9 Jul 2026MP & ParliamentsarcasticFarage fans like the man himself rattle easy.
25 Jun 2026TransportsarcasticHave you ever lived if you haven't sat in an overheated carriage wondering how they put a man on the moon and brought him back, 12 years before you were born but somehow I cant read an email on a train?
25 Jun 2026TransportsarcasticThe joy of Avanti West Coast and its eclectic commitment to train timetables would sure be an eye opener for many.
25 Jun 2026MP & ParliamentmeasuredThe debate about parents being MPs and making the hours more sensible always falls down on the fact that for London based MPs 9-5 life would be better mon-fri, but those of us who live elsewhereI preferred to do 40 hours over 3 days in order to go home on a thursday.
25 Jun 2026MP & ParliamentmeasuredAlways thought about how all PMs in my lifetime didnt have to move their family to London because they already lived there. (Maybe not GB) If my position ever left me having to live in London, my family would not have come. Burnhams kids are old so less consequence but will be an interesting change.
22 Jun 2026Crime & PolicingempatheticThinking of the bravery of those going through a long drawn out and very public trial.
11 Jun 2026Defence & SecuritymeasuredJohn Healey is definitely not sexist, I'll go back to where I started and say he worked hard with me to do some tough stuff on Violence Against women. Also I know negotiations have to go on, I did them! Its bruising, but if you cant reach a settlement you agree with, you have to walk away.
11 Jun 2026MP & ParliamentdefensiveWhat has this got to do with Wes? I dont think its a shame that folks wont deliver stuff they dont agree with. Have to have red lines. I dont think John Healey was doing this for his ambition, hes just not that guy, but perhaps you know better than someone who has known him for a decade.
11 Jun 2026MP & ParliamentmeasuredIts not an internal fight, he was asked or in fact told to take a position he didnt agree with on a time frame he didnt agree with. The honourable thing to do is resign. You can disagree on his points by all means, Im no defence funding expert, but you cannot sell something you dont think is right.
11 Jun 2026Defence & SecuritycelebratoryJohn Healey is an utterly decent man. Under his leadership of the MOD I saw real mettle on the issue of VAWG in armed forces and also his handling of the murder of Agnes Wanjiru was so far away from what their family had become accustomed to. A great man. www.gov.uk/government/n...
10 Jun 2026Technology & DigitaldefensiveAlso im not talking about Internet censorship im talking about kids not being able to take naked images of themselves or live stream their abuse. How is that censorship. Even if it was dont you think we should censor child abuse?
10 Jun 2026Technology & DigitalangryI dont think they are the same. I think the comparable amount of investment in to one over the other is the problem. I guess one will make billions in the future and stopping child abuse will mean they lose money. Thats the problem. Not sure why anyone would defend that.
10 Jun 2026Technology & DigitalangryYeah mate I did, with leading tech and security experts in the land. Apple already age verifies on device, & as for kids being outed as lgbt this an imagined evil, ive seen current evil and thats that higher % of lgbt kids are sexually abused. Your solution for that? Just hope for the best?
9 Jun 2026Technology & DigitaldefensiveLiterally no one has paid me or paid to sit down with me, and I have literally seen the technology with my own eyes. They have invested billions in driverless cars i think they can manage nudity filters and age verification.
9 Jun 2026MP & ParliamentmeasuredWomens votes are not just for Christmas. If they deliver wins they should always receive wins in return.
9 Jun 2026non-politicalsarcasticCelebrate when it actually happens. Till then keep pushing
8 Jun 2026MP & ParliamentcelebratoryUniversal sufferage a movement with a manchester heart does its North West thing.
