A safe LD seat, won with 56% of the vote in 2024. Centred on Richmond upon Thames. Population 109,620, highly educated (58% degree-holders). Median income £44K (above average), 6,280 businesses.

Twickenham's MP made her most significant mark in June 2025 by breaking with the Liberal Democrat majority on the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill -- voting against the bill at Third Reading and against two amendments that liberalised the framework, while backing two others that appeared to introduce tighter safeguards. This puts her among the minority of Lib Dems who opposed legalising assisted dying, a notable conscience-vote departure from 97% party-line alignment across all other divisions. More recently, she sided with the Lords on both the Victims and Courts Bill and the National Insurance Contributions (Employer Pensions Contributions) Bill, consistently backing Lords amendments the government rejected -- standard Liberal Democrat opposition positioning.

At 67% voting participation, Wilson is below the Commons average, though this is not unusual for smaller party MPs managing large casework loads. Her voting profile is consistently anti-tax-increase (100%), pro-business, pro-parliamentary-scrutiny, and strongly supportive of victims' rights, while aligning with the government agenda only 15% of the time. Her 63-percentage-point gap below her party's average on assisted dying is the single sharpest deviation in her record. Speeches span education, the economy, social care, and cost-of-living -- 73 contributions across 23 debates -- though she currently holds no select committee seat.
