Won by Lab in its first election in 2024 by 4.0%. Covers Milford Haven, Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock. Population 105,520, notably older (median age 48 vs 41 nationally). Median income £25K (below average).

Tufnell's most notable break from Labour came in December 2024 when he voted against his party on proportional representation, opposing a Ten Minute Rule Motion that would have introduced the single transferable vote for UK parliamentary elections -- one of only a handful of Labour MPs to do so. More recently, his public call to scrap the North Sea drilling ban drew criticism, with one outlet framing his argument that abandoning fossil fuels "impoverishes communities" as contradicting evidence that renewables reduce energy costs. Against that, he secured a significant local win in March 2026 after more than a year of lobbying across banks, regulators, and government to bring a banking hub to a town hit by branch closures -- coverage that was notably positive.

At 86% voting participation and 99.8% party alignment, Tufnell is a reliable Labour vote on almost everything outside electoral reform. His stance profile shows strong alignment with workers' rights and progressive taxation, but low scores on pro-business and tough-on-crime measures. Where he stands out from the Labour average is on armed forces welfare (80% vs the party's 49%) and consumer protection (100% vs 79%). His 46 parliamentary contributions have clustered heavily around economy and jobs, energy, and environment -- consistent with his public campaigning on offshore wind (FLOW) and water quality in the River Cleddau.
