A new constituency created in the 2023 boundary review. Won by Con in its first election in 2024 by 1.6%. Covers Ash and Ash Vale, Farncombe and Cranleigh. Population 98,823. Recorded crime is 48% below the national average. 6,155 businesses.

One of the most prominent Conservative backbenchers in the Commons, Jeremy Hunt broke with the majority of his parliamentary party five times in a single day -- June 2025 -- on the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. He voted to liberalise aspects of the assisted dying framework and against amendments that would have added restrictions, placing him 77 percentage points above his party's average on assisted dying access. More recently, he has voted consistently with Conservative colleagues against the government's Finance Bill and opposed the Courts and Tribunals Bill, while publicly calling for cross-party unity on economic policy and criticising the Home Office over a constituent's immigration case as "crass bureaucracy."

At 42% voting participation, Hunt is well below the Commons average -- a notable figure given his two decades in Parliament and former Cabinet seniority. When he does vote, he is a 96% party-line Conservative, strongly anti-tax-increases (94%), pro-business (81%), and pro-civil-liberties (90%), while registering near-zero alignment with the government's agenda. His speeches -- 71 contributions across 45 debates -- cluster heavily around economy and jobs, defence, social care, and health, reflecting his former roles as Health Secretary and Chancellor. He deviates from his party on climate action (17% vs a 43% party average) and consumer protection (0% vs 45%).
