Won by PC in its first election in 2024. Covers Aberystwyth, Cardigan and Fishguard. Population 89,344, notably older (median age 48 vs 41 nationally). Recorded crime is 40% below the national average. Median income £25K (below average).

Plaid Cymru's most consistent recent position on pensions has been siding with the House of Lords against the Labour government -- Lake voted to retain multiple Lords amendments to the Pension Schemes Bill in April 2026, backing protections for smaller pension schemes, public sector pension transparency, and limits on ministers' power to direct how pension funds invest. He broke with his own party twice: once as a teller against a motion on WASPI women's compensation (though he has since publicly championed their cause in the press), and once backing a procedural vote on the assisted dying bill, where his voting pattern sits notably more pro-access than Plaid's average.

At 61% participation, Lake votes less frequently than the Commons average, though his 99.3% party-line record means when he does vote, he almost always backs Plaid. His speeches -- 110 contributions across 85 debates -- cluster heavily around economy and jobs, defence, fiscal policy, and social care. His stance profile shows strong alignment with workers' rights and civil liberties, consistent opposition to the employer National Insurance increase, and a markedly low alignment with fiscal consolidation measures. He deviates from his party by being somewhat more supportive of the government's agenda and slightly more open to asylum reform than Plaid's average.
