Won by PC in its first election in 2024 by 9.9%. Covers Carmarthen, Ammanford and Glanaman. Population 88,735, notably older (median age 48 vs 41 nationally).

Ann Davies's most notable departure from the Plaid Cymru line has been on assisted dying. She voted against the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill at both Second and Third Reading, breaking with her party's majority position on both occasions -- making her one of the more consistent opponents of the legislation among Plaid MPs. She is also measurably less aligned with the current government's agenda than her Plaid colleagues, sitting 8 percentage points below the party average on pro-government votes, and has voted against the government's budget proposals at almost every opportunity, registering just 8% alignment on pro-government-budget divisions.

At 54% participation across 466 divisions, Davies votes below the Commons average, though a September 2025 Nation.Cymru report noted she led the Welsh new intake in overall parliamentary activity -- suggesting her engagement outside the division lobby compensates somewhat. She has delivered 22 contributions across 18 debates since July 2024, concentrating heavily on economy and jobs, cost-of-living, and social care. Her stance profile shows strong alignment with workers' rights (70%), civil liberties (73%), and parliamentary scrutiny (83%), while she votes against employer tax increases in every recorded division and sits firmly against government fiscal plans.
