Won by Lab in its first election in 2024.

Graeme Downie has been making his mark as a vocal champion for Dunfermline and Dollar's economy, securing concrete wins for his constituency in recent months. He successfully campaigned for £3 million in funding for a Rosyth-Europe ferry route, helped deliver a £5 million investment in a Rosyth innovation hub through the UK defence growth deal, and publicly challenged the SNP over what he called "misinformation" about the area's prospects. His speech record heavily reflects these priorities -- economy and jobs account for the largest share of his 238 parliamentary contributions, followed by defence and energy, all of which map directly onto Rosyth's industrial significance as a naval and commercial port.

A 100% party-line voter with no rebel votes on record, Downie votes reliably with Labour across fiscal policy and workers' rights. His participation rate of 67% sits below the Commons average, though this is not unusual for newer MPs still establishing their footing. He scores notably below his party average on criminal justice reform (45% vs Labour's 64%) and disability benefits (0% vs 12%), and sits slightly more sympathetic to immigration control than most Labour colleagues. His stance profile flags low alignment with pro-business and pro-parliamentary-scrutiny positions, the latter reflecting consistent support for the government's approach in Lords ping-pong votes on the Victims and Courts Bill.
