Courts and Tribunals Bill: Further to consider the Bill

Parliamentary debate

Parliament is reconvening in General Committee to continue detailed examination of the Courts and Tribunals Bill. This is the second or further consideration of the Bill, where MPs scrutinise specific clauses, amendments, and provisions affecting the court system and tribunal structures across the UK.

The Courts and Tribunals Bill affects access to justice, court efficiency, and how legal disputes are resolved for millions of citizens and businesses. Changes to court procedures and tribunal arrangements have national importance for the administration of justice and can impact court backlogs, legal costs, and people's ability to pursue claims.
